The last of the GM Fishbowls have now all been retired from the Victoria Regional Transit System fleet. #848 is the only remaining 1981 GM Fishbowl still in service in Victoria. her days are numbered at this point as she will most likely be retired from service before the end of 2006. These 3 shots show #848 parked at the Garbally Road Transit Centre waiting for her next assignment on March 2, 2006. I did manage to get a few photos of #848 in service during the afternoon rush hour on March 3, 2006 and I will post those photos in the near future. Peter McLaughlin Photos.

Here is an interior shot of #858 showing the original interior that the Victoria 1981 T6H-5307N's came with when new. #'s 837 to 855 all received new reconditioned interiors in the early 1990's, but #'s 856 to 865 did not.

Ten years after the two above shots were taken, #858 is found retired and stored at Victoria's Langford Yard on July 3, 2002. But this bus had since been sold to National of Calgary Alberta to be used for various Charter Operations. Click HERE to find photos of Ex-Victoria #858 operating for National in Alberta.
